Lucknow: Harnath Singh Yadav, a member of BJP Rajya Sabha from Uttar Pradesh, asked to include the score Vibhishika Diwas (August 14) in the history books. He also wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi about it. Harnath wrote: “In my opinion, information about the world’s most brutal incident should be passed on to present and future generations in India. For this, it is necessary to include the monstrosities of the Partition in the history curriculum and to teach children.

Harnath Singh Yadav also quoted Prime Minister Modi’s statement on partitioning the country in the letter. It is said in this letter: “You said yourself that the pain of the score can never be forgotten. Celebrated on August 14, “Vibhajan Vibhishika Diwas” not only inspires us to remove the poison of discrimination, but also strengthens national unity. Harnath Singh Yadav further wrote that the people of the country should know the background and reason for partition.

He said: “Most of the country’s population was born after independence. Why was the country divided? What is the context of the score? What is the reality of the score? Who was responsible for the score?… These are questions for which the factual literature does not exist to give precise information. It must therefore be included in the curriculum.
